Know your enemy....

So he misled them with deception. Then when they tasted of the tree, that which was hidden from them of their shame (private parts) became manifest to them and they began to stick together the leaves of Paradise over themselves (in order to cover their shame). And their Lord called out to them (saying): "Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you: Verily, Shaitân (Satan) is an open enemy unto you?" (Al-A'raf 7:22)


My friends, in this verse Allah tells us that our enemy is Shaitan and we must defend ourself from this open enemy. Shaitan always invite us to disobey Allah. In order to protect ourself from Shaitan, we must know his tricks.


Some of the tricks are:

• Make us feel that we are right when we are doing the wrong thing.
• Use the excuse that our forefather/ancesstor have done it (the bad thing).
• Looking for difference, saperate our heart = not unite.
• Make we feel ego
• Feel respectful, where people must respect us and give good treatment

Shaitan just whisper to us ie. give inspiration to us to do bad things, but we complete/do it. That means it depends on us wheter we want to do it or not. Let us pray to Allah to give us strength to face this enemy. The simplest dua is Aauzubillahiminasshaitanirrajim.
