Alhamdulillah, it was the night of Isra' and Mi'raj. We walked all over Glasgow, making one complete circle, before the event took place. It was an eye-opener; my previous visit to Glasgow had been limited to the city inner precinct which does not resonate well with me - I always hate Glasgow the drab, post-industrial age city.

This time around we ventured on foot to Kelvingrove Park. With Faisal Tehrani's novel 1515 and a chess programme in the laptop opened, we sunbathed like others for a complete one hour. Greenery was everywhere and when green is enveloping huge, majestic mansions and buildings, it was a 'Turkish' delight for the eyes.

We should have called Sidi Abdul Aziz before going. Syeikh Nuh was staying at his place and Sidi Abdul Aziz was acting chauffeur! A missed opportunity to be as close to him as possible! I waited outside the hall with Sidi Abdul Aziz - chatting about stuffs - and it paid well missing the 20mins Q&A session. Syeikh Nuh normally dashed away ASAP when his event finishes such that people rarely has the opportunity to touch skin with him. This time, as I was barring the door, he had no where else to escape and heading straight into myself! Hurray!

The door, guys, the door, should have done the same last time..!
