Oh, no. Power supply dead!!

I just found that the AC-DC adapter for my external hard disk gone dead yesterday. Now I cannot access to the valuable data in my external hard disk. A quick search in the search engine shows that the price for a replacement is too high. Around 25-40 quids. Masyallah that is too high. I cannot afford to spend that much money just for a piece of adapter. So whoever knows where can I get an AC-DC converter 12V 3 amps for less than 20 quids please let me know. Jazakallah
