Sometimes we see in TV or internet we see commentaries saying that X produced unbiased documentary, make unbiased review etc. I wonder how can a 'self-interest' creature like human can be unbiased? Every people in this world hold and believe in different values. What are the criteria that determines that a documentary made by some secular people about Islam is unbiased? I hope one day I can grasp the idea of 'unbias'ness.

Being consistent is very challenging. Your stand must remain the same in any situation and towards anybody. In other words, double standard. Sometimes it is difficult to be consistent especially when it your ego, dignity, income etc. being threatened. It requires courage. Many people have shown this including Syakh Hamza Yusuf. He condemned the Muslims who involved in terrrorisme activity and at the same time he condemned the American Foreign Policy, get American troops out of Iraq. Both of them which brings destruction to the world peace.

There is a lot of duplicity and hypocracy going on here. "sheikh" hamza may have condemned the invasion of Iraq when it was fashionable to do so i.e. global protests around the world essentially isolated the neo-cons. However, standing by truth means telling truth to power even when it is unpopular, something all of the prophets in the past have done. Which "tribe" was "sheikh" hamza cheering for when the camera showed him getting up and clapping on Sept. 20, 2001 during Bush's address following the 9/11 attacks where he said:
"you are either with us or against us!"
just for added emphasis the media accounts at the time document that he sang the national anthem and "America the beautiful" with Bush before AND after the address. Is nationalism and patriotism from Islam? If so, please produce evidence of this.
