Al-asharatu-mubashshirun, ten promised jannah

I was asked by one of my friend about who are those people who were promised to enter the jannah. Here is the list of names of those ten promised to enter the paradise. Let us try to follow their path and emulate the good example shown by them in our life. May Allah put us in the group people He loves.

Al-asharatu-mubashshirun (Arabic) The ten people who were given the glad tidings of assurance of entering Paradise. They were

1. Abu Bakr أبو بكر الصدّيق
2. Umar عمر بن الخطّاب
3. Uthman عثمان بن عفّان
4. Ali علي بن أﺑﻲ طالب
5. Abdur Rahman ibn Awf عبد الرحمن بن عوف
6. Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrahأبو عبيدة بن الجراح
7. Talhah ibn Ubaydullah طلحة بن عبيد الله
8. az-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam الزبير بن العوّام
9. Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas سعد بن أبي وقّاص
10. Sa'id ibn Zayd. سعيد بن زيد
