Human generally can't stand boredom. Every time it occurs, we feel stressed. Human needs stimulation to function. Therefore they will fill their empty heart which is the cause of boredom by doing anything. When human lost guidance, they prefer doing the unlawful or immoral stuff to satisfy their heart because it seems the most enjoyable way to get around boredom. Just find the keyword "boredom+destruction" in any search engine or video sharing site, you will find many related results and understand what I mean.
Moral of the story is, use your time wisely, never allow yourself having free time to be wasted. Otherwise you will be trapped in to destruction.
