Quoting my conversation with bro Suhaib last Sunday, "Mahathir pernah kata, kalau kita nak belajar komputer, kita tak perlu tunggu ada komputer. Dengan kata lain tak perlu tunggu masanya tiba. Bersedia awal!" So in the quest of preparing myself towards marriage, I found one beautiful ayah that frequently used by many speakers in the topic regarding primary objective of marriage Islam which is to obtain tranquility and peace through a successful union.
"And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in peace and tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): Verily in that are signs for those who reflect" (Quran 30:21).
For those who have not yet married, let us make dua. May Allah show us the right path. Amin.
